Chartered in 1704, Saint James Episcopal Church has been a Christian presence in Edison for more than 300 years. The first church was built in 1724, and at one point during the American Revolution served as a barracks and hospital. Soldiers from various wars are buried in the Piscatawaytown Burial Ground which surrounds the church. (Click here for more information about the Piscatawaytown Burial Ground.)
Throughout our history, we have sought to be faithful people. We proclaim the great good news of God’s love in Jesus Christ by our words and actions. We invite you to walk with us on this Christian journey.
